Article: Srebrenica Mass grave yields over 1,000 body parts

Like I commented on Dan's blog; I don't think anything will give the family members and survivors of the massacre closure; but at least more family members have an opportunity to bury their loved ones with the dignity and respect they deserve.

(Of course, it goes without saying that it is tragic that anyone has to bury their relatives at all)

While I'm sure one never gives up hope about the fate of their loved one, especially when that loved one is a child; as the years go on the flicker of hope that the person is being held prisoner or something like that, must surely fade.

Like I mentioned earlier, nothing will bring back their loved ones and nothing will give these people back what they have lost; but at least they have 100% certainty about what happened to their family members and they will now have a grave to visit.

It is obvious that all of the people who are listed as "missing" from Srebrenica are dead; but having a proper grave and undispute physical proof is important.
