In March of 2006 Bosnian Army Officers; Enver Hadzihasanovic and Amir Kubura were sentenced to 5 and 2 1/2 years in prison respectively for failing to prevent and punish war crimes committed by their subordinates.
Both the defense and the Office of the Prosecutor have decided to appeal the verdict. The defense presumably wants their clients to be acquitted of all charges; while the prosecution presumably wants to see a longer sentenced imposed.
