Stitching New Lives
Sorry, the title is a bit corny. But, the Hartford Advocate has an excellent article profiling some Bosnian women who moved to the US. The article looks at several woman who are involved in creating traditional Bosnian rugs and crafts; and the difficulty involved in trying to market and sell such products.

I have a small rug from Bosfam and am purchasing another one soon. I had hoped to organize a group sponsorship of a weaver; nothing has come of that yet, but I still hope to do so someday. I've made a few small donations as well. Excellent organization.
