Art & Culture: Remembering the siege of Sarajevo

I love photography; in fact for awhile I wanted to be a photojournalist. I think photos can have such an evocative and emotional power, as well as a journalistic and historical power as well.

Art can be very powerful as well, as it is clear by looking at these paintings which reflect the artist's versions of the Siege of Sarajevo. Dark and morbid, but incredibly emotional; these works of art all painted during 1992 transports you back to a time that many would perhaps like to forget, but can't.
